MONITORING AND EVALUATION (M & E)

Monitoring and Evaluation is part of the design of the Social Cash Transfer Scheme. M&E is designed in a way that it makes it possible to check progress on the indicators of the Scheme so that where there are problems corrective actions are factored in to ensure the Scheme is on track. Beside, evaluation is undertaken with the objective of helping in decision making, accountability, lesson learning, re-designing and program development. A number of activities, outputs and outcomes have been put in place with possible indicators. These help provide information to users at different levels for timely decision-making in the Scheme.

M&E in the Scheme is conducted internally and externally.
